Murder in the house !

Cookie sure know how to pick his days of mischief ! (It has to be when Grandma is on holiday, leaving mommy alone with him at home !) Just when mommy is in a rush to get to work in the morning, mommy notices that he was being quiet (never a good thing with JRTs!) , and he was also having a strange expression on his face, like he was transfixed on something !

Mommy tried to ignore his behaviour, thinking that it would go away after awhile.. but .... no such luck. 20 mins on, he was still acting wierd, so mommy figured she better go see what was going on !! True enough... cookie tham had spied a baby sparrow that had flown into the house through the window. Right now, the bird was perched on the ceiling fan !! Its a BIRD... Its a PLANE.... its....baby sparrow with a spot of diarrhore !

Of course mommy had to shoo the bird off on behalf of cookie tham. But the bird was strangely insistant on hanging around !! Instead of flying out from the window when it came from, it tried to fly into mommy's room, tried to hide in the mids of the artificial flowers on the table (I kid you not !! It just tried to plant itself amidst the plant like trying to go camoflage !) Finally, it decided to fly to a room where there was no fan and nothing for it to perch on, so it decided to zoom down on the floor for a rest... and thats when it HAPPENED !!......

VOOM..... Next thing you know... cookie had the bird in his mouth !! NIGHTMARES OF NIGHMARES !!! Mommy had to whack cookie's head with a pillow... all the while shouting... "DROP COOKIE THAM DROPPPPPPPPPPP DROP !!!! SPIT!! PUKE!!!! .... WHATEVER!!! just drop the &*&$& bird !!!!!"

By the time cookie dropped the bird, it was lying stunned on the floor and cookie had feathers in his mouth !!

Sparrow was not dead... and there was no blood anywhere to be seen. Mommy thinks it was more in shock than anything else. (Could not decide who was more tramatised !! The bird or mommy !!

Finally mommy decided to scoop the bird up, place it in a plastic bag and ferry it downstair to release on the grass patch.. (hopefully it would feel better with some sun !!)

What a way to start the morning !!
